Wir hatten dies Appartment mit zwei Teens und unserer 5 jährigen Tochter gemietet. Die Unterkunft bietet alles was man benötigt. Viel Platz, Internet, TV und eine große Küche. Direkt neben dem Haus liegt die Busstation, die direkt nach Manhatten führt (Leider gibt es keine Kombi Tickets die auch in Manhatten gültig sind). Man kann auch zu Fuß bis zu einer Fähre laufen, die kostest allerdings ein paar Dollar mehr als der Bus. Im Gebäude befindet sich ein Supermarkt der bis 12 Uhr nachts geöffnet ist, so dass die Erstversorgung gesichert ist. Nur wenige Meter sind es bis zum Fluß mit perfektem Ausblick auf Manhatten. Insgesamt eine günstigere Alternative mit mehr Ruhe als direkt in Manhatten.

Ich war mit meiner Frau und meinen beiden erwachsenen Söhnen fünf Tage in New York. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem sehr großen Gebäude im 7. Stock. Die besitzt zwei Schlafzimmer mit je zwei Queensizebetten und je einem Badezimmer. Dazu ein Wohnbereich mit vollausgestatteter Küche. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Im 5. Stock gibt es einen Swimmingpool in einer riesigen Terrasse mit Tischen, Stühlen und Liegen - alles inklusive. In fünf Gehminuten ist man am Ufer des Hudson River und hat einen gigantischen Ausblick auf Manhattan. Es gibt eine Bushaltestelle vor dem Haus. Mit den Bussen die hier stoppen, fährt man in 15 Minuten nach Manhattan (USD 3,00) oder mit der NY Ferry (10 Gehminuten) in 6 Minuten (USD 9,00). Das einzige was uns in der Wohnung gestört hat, war, dass es keinen Kleiderschrank gibt, was aber bei unseren 4 Tagen Aufenthalt nicht so schlimm war. Ansonsten gebe ich eine 100% Weiterempfehlung!

The Apartment was very nice and spacious, I was with 4 other guests and we had plenty of room between us. I was very happy with the facilities and storage to put our belongings. It also came with the use of a Gym, Pool and Cinema, which was excellent for myself and guests. We found the Concierge staff very helpful with all our questions and available at any time. The Apartment is based in a nice quiet area which is located right next to a Supermarket, Restaurant and other stores nearby. Also, it is right near the harbour that has a beautiful view of Manhattan. There is a Ferry nearby the Apartment that travels to and from Manhattan every 20mins. I would suggest this apartment to any person looking to travel to New York to stay, as I will be booking it again on my return.

The apartment was very dirty. The floor was scruffy, the furniture were dusty. The toilets were disgusting. It seems like they weren't cleaned up for a couple of years. The bed was disgusting too. The bed linen were shop-soiled and smelled horrible. We were lucky to had a neighbor where we could wash the linen. The TV didn't work. We hadn't Wi-fi. In the kitchen we had a lot of cockroaches. There were no garden furnitures. Nothing was as well as in the description. We wrote an email to the owner. No answer!!! No service!!! The only thing we enjoyed was the pool area and the garden. Very beautiful. Directly on the sea. Not advisable!!! We're lucky to be back at home.
