Thank you for three wonderful days in Paris. Everything was so simple with the flat - picking up the key, finding the flat, leaving the flat - a brilliant system :-) And the flat is really beautiful, with a nice view over the roofes of Paris and the Eiffeltower... We had everything we needed! There is a supermarket on the opposite side of the street and a bakery on the corner. We walked to Sacre Coeur (about 25min). The next Metro station is about 5min walk - so a really great location :-)
We had a wonderful stay in Paris and the flat was perfect for us! It is bright and lovely decorated and also close to metro, supermarkets and (very good) boulangeries.
Very good location, but small, and warm. For the price, though, an excellent value.
The flat was as expected - clean, cozy yet small (perfect for sleeping over though), 25-30 min walking distance to Notre Dame cathedral. Fair value for the money:)
This apartment was filthy and disgusting! All of the furniture was worn and smelly. Every inch of fixtures, walls, windows and, blankets were dirty and neglected. It looked like it hasn't been cleaned since 2009 when the pictures on this website were taken. Upon arrival my husband was so depressed but without another option of a place to stay we spent 3 hours cleaning this place because we knew we would not get our money back. There is no place to dump your trash although they inform you that it is on floor -2 there is no access by elevator to that floor. You are not renting this place from an owner but from a poorly run management company called centreparis.com. Rather than update their own website which only lists their properties in french they have decided to list their properties through a more reputable company like wimdu allowing you to believe you are renting from the actual owners. There is a total lack of service regarding responding to customer concerns both before and during the rental period. There is a strict cancellation policy so once they have your money you cannot get a full refund. Basically they are renting this apartment for more than they can get in a monthly rental but are doing nothing to keep up the place. Upon arrival in Paris you must go to the Centre Paris office in another part of town to collect the keys. The only thing they provide you with is clean linen but the towels smelled like cigarette smoke. Rather than spend my precious vacation time argueing with this rental company we cleaned the apartment from top to bottom and washed our blankets and linen at the Laverie located on Rue de Lappe nearest to Rue de la Roquette. They are open from 0700-2200. We had the apartment manager enter the apartment twice during our stay telling us they were there to get estimates to cut the trees on the terrace and to fix the blinds in the bedroom. Really?! Repair something? How about cleaning the place?! This rental is located on Rue de Lappe which has always been known as Paris' nightclub central. You will have the noise of people partying till all hours of the morning and the bedroom window overlooks this street. We moved the bed into the living room and the sofa into the bedroom to lessen the noise from the surrounding nightclubs. Overall, I would not recommend this rental but would just spend the extra money to find a more decent and well kept apartment. Rent this apartment if you're used to living in a dog house or are willing to do the work to clean it during your precious vacation time either way you are on your own. Do more research and google Rue de Lappe then you will know what I mean about the noise. Buyer Beware!
The apartments location is perfect.Closed to the metro and very closed to Moulin Rouge and Sacré-Coeur and Montremarte. You dont have so much time to be in the apartment if you want to experience Paris, but it is not the most update apartmen- its lack some caring and paint. The kitchen was nice and the beds ok.
Nice to stay in Montmartre, the bakery on the corner is marvellous! Practical arrangements worked fine.
I think that the place was almost perfect. It was very rustic and homely. The only problem was wi-fi but, in my opinion, if you are in Paris... why do you need internet? I enjoyed the place: the beds were really comfortable, the kitchen was easy to use and the bathroom reminded me of mine: small but useful. So, for me, five stars!
This was a fantastic apartment and because of this a fabulous Paris experience!!! the location was excellent; within 5-10 mins to several metro stations, great local shops, bars and restaurants. There were 3 of us and the apartment was spacious enough to accommodate us all very well. The area is quiet and felt safe and I can not rate highly enough the service we received from Sebastien et al regarding the key pick up to leaving our bags in their office after checkout, they were extremely helpful and it was a great service. I will stay here again and cant wait to return to Paris. It is so refreshing to come back from a trip away and have no complaints!! thank you!!
This is a very nice, charming flat. Everything was clean and propper.
Sufficient for small family (4 persons). There is a supermarket and several restaurants and bar, as well as a boulangerie close to the flat. We would again book...
