Lovely, clean and equipped apartment! we hope to return as soon as possible!!
The hosts were very flexible with the time to pick up the keys and we simply dropped them in the mailbox on our way out. The apartment was big - great for 2 couples - we only stayed a couple nights but could have stayed much longer. Location was perfect too.
Had a perfect stay in Prague and the apartment was very nice with perfect central location.
Very nica apartment. All arrangements went fine, taxi from airport, meeting of representative etc. Location was PERFECT!
A very nice apartment very well located next to the metro and main tram stops, bed was very comfortable and all areas were clean and in working order. Would recomend to anyone looking for a central location. Many thanks again Jan:)
We, two couples, spent 4 nights at this apartment. It is right in the center, just walk around the corner, and you are on Wenceslas Square...near the National Museum...so the location was great, therefore we cannot say anything bad about it. Right next to it is a jazz club (dont worry, you will sleep), so we'd go down there to listen to some music and have a few beers...(note: do NOT eat their food, it is horrible, but their beer is pretty good)...the apartment itself is rather big...two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a medium sized foyer, shower room and a bathroom with the toilet...these two are separate which is rather funny...it's a very simple apartment with very simple cutlery and furniture...but it has free WiFi which was very important to us. The hosts, Jan and Alex, are extremely helpful and will give you some pointers.
Overall, we were happy...
Perfect location, for ease of tram from train station and for walking to all the sites. The apt. was very nice and clean. Large frig. Good kitchen amenities. Comfortable beds. Tiny balc. in back but was a bit too small and no sun, so we didn't use it.
The most wonderful thing about the apt. was the host, Jan. We had a very serious problem (all my fault) on the first day, and Jan, although very busy, came over and took care of it right away. It was a big inconvenience for him --he had to drive someplace to get parts, but he got it done as quickly as it could have been done. Very nice attitude about it. Made us feel a lot better.
Can't think of anything that a traveler needs to know more about this place. Groceries and Bankomat nearby and lots of trams on next street over. Old town in easy walking distance and funicular up to Petrin Hill, thence an easy walk to the Castle.
One warming: we went to a Rick Steve's recommended restaurant (Plzenka Rest. u Dvou Kocek - "By the two cats") in the old Town and there was a pretty bad accordion player who stayed over at a rowdy table where they were singing loud songs. When we asked for a glass of water, the surly waitress brought us two bottled waters (with no tops on--so was it really bottled?) when we just drink the city water happily and that's what we wanted. When the bill came, it was twice as much as we expected because not only did they charge us for bottled water, but also for the music!. The music we hated and wished would go away. We just put down the money we thought we owed and left in a huff. They were too busy to come after us. But beware of that place..
Otherwise, Prague is adorable!
Everything went fine, clean flat, big enough, could not be better located in the center and next to the havanah club which was a great place!
Appartamento molto ampio e molto pulito, in ottima posizione a 100 mt da Piazza Venceslao e vicino alla metropolitana. Eravamo in 9 persone e avevamo ancora tantissimo spazio a disposizione. I Bagni sono ampi con docce grandi. Consigliato.
