To D. Manuel I, born in 1469 and reigning from 1495 to 1521, nicknamed "The Fortunate", Portugal owes a time where the naturalistic imagery is represented in the architecture and decoration. The use and combination of flora motifs, animals and elements used in day-to-day activities by the Portuguese navigators, such as ropes and anchors, resulted in a style (known as "Manuelino") that has spread to the four corners of the world. Inspired in this great Portuguese King, this suite tries to show all the influence that the Portuguese spread across the world.

The suite has an area of 39.20 sq meters with a double bed (or twin beds on request) allowing for an occupancy by two people or three people (using the sofa bed available in the living area).
The beds have latex mattresses and display the traditional quality of Portuguese textile, with satin cotton sheets, four seasons duvet and a choice of three pillows of different densities
The suite has a sitting area with the sofa bed and can also create an ambience of a dining area with a kitchenette with refrigerator, hotplate, toaster, microwave and tableware.

Located in the heart of Lisbon in one of the oldest and picturesque streets of the city is the Palácio do Mercador (Merchant's Palace), a building whose first record dates back to 1565.
Resisting the earthquake that struck Lisbon in 1755, the owner at the time knowing of the presence in the city of the Milanese plasterer Giovanni Grossi commissioned him the decoration of his palace, according the rococo style, coating ceilings with beautiful stucco, the walls with tile ("azulejos") panels and decorative paintings that we can still admire.
Over the five hundred years of its existence, the palace was home to many famous people who
marked the society of their time through politics, culture and overseas trade.
Over the past five years the palace has undergone a profound restoration and conservation, promoted by the current owners and executed by the company CRERE, which brought back the splendor and dignity of other times.

For each additional guest a €40 charge per night applies.

• In the event that, during your stay, you may need any assistance or support regarding the apartment or your stay in Lisbon, please contact us as soon as possible. We will respond to your request as soon as possible. • In the event that access to the apartment you occupy is needed during your stay to proceed to any maintenance or repairs, we will contact you in advance through the telephone contact you have provided us. • In the apartment you will find an "Apartment Guide" with details, instructions, addresses and phone numbers that may be useful during your stay. • A security deposit in the amount of € 200,00 to € 300.00 (depending on the apartment rented) must be paid on arrival. The amount will be refunded after check-out, after checking the apartment is on the conditions in which it was delivered at check-in. • The payment includes the rental of the apartment, cleaned up and furbished with linens and towels for all guests, electricity and water. • KEY The guests will receive a copy of each of the keys needed to access the apartment. The loss of keys will imply the deduction of €150.00 from the security deposit paid on arrival because, for safety reasons, it will require the replacement of the remaining keys and lock of the the building and apartment. • CLEANING: The cleaning service depends on the type of apartment rented. Apartments with a reservation for more than 1 week include a cleaning in the middle of the period of the reservation. • For the Luxury Apartments, daily, between 10:00 and 14:00, there will be a simple cleaning of the apartment. The change of towels or sheets is only performed every 3 days. If you will need extra cleaning service, you should inform us of your preference when making your reservation since these services are charged separately and the prices depend on the number of people occupying the apartment. •The apartments are delivered clean and, the day of your checkout, the apartment should be in reasonable condition of cleanliness. The guest does not have to do any cleaning - we will take care of it. • USE OF THE APARTMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES We expect our guests to take good care of the apartment and its contents. All the rules presented to use the apartment and its equipment must be strictly obeyed during the period of your stay. •Only those customers included in the reservation have the right to stay in the apartment. • The person responsible for the booking (the tenant) shall bring a copy of his identity card or passport. Upon arrival the tenant will sign a copy of the contract that has been previously sent with the dates, price and terms of occupancy of the apartment. • The tenant will be responsible for the apartment during the period reserved. The presence of an adult (over 18) is mandatory during the period of the reservation. • It is forbidden to sub-rent the apartment or to lend it to third parties. • Guests in other apartments shall be respected. Please refrain from making noise during the night or early morning. Any kind of parties, loud music or noise that might disturb the other guests are STRICTLY PROHIBITED. • The tenant who signs the Temporary Rental Contract is responsible for ensuring that all the guests maintain a good behavior. If that person or their guests do not maintain appropriate behavior we reserve the right to ask the tenant and his guests to leave the apartment without the right to any compensation or claim. • Neither we nor the building owner may be liable for any harm, direct or indirect, arising during the period of the reservation of the apartment, including personal injury or damage by fire, theft or criminal behavior. • Neither we nor the building owner will be responsible for any problems with the supply of electricity, water and gas, but please contact us immediately if any of these problems occur, so that we can correct them as soon as possible. • If any of these rules is not respected, we reserves the right to ask the TENANT and his guests to leave the apartment, losing it's right to any compensation and to the Security Deposit.
