Barbara's Vatican apartment, overlooking St.Peter's dome, will be newly open and restored in July of 2014 respecting the apartment's traditional 1950's layout in its style.
Tastefully decorated with a romantic mix of vintage furnishings and new beds, couch, chairs and fridge, everything has been carefully embellished giving the apartment a sophisticated elegance.
There are TWO SPACIOUS BEDROOMS: one double and one triple, a comfortable lounge with a big sofa couch, armchairs and dining table for 7, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with modern amenities. All bed, bath and kitchen linens are included.
Within walking distance of many of Rome's historic and religious sites, starting from St.Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museum, to Castel S.Angelo, the guesthouse is a short walk across the river to Piazza Navona and the Pantheon.
Opposite the apartment you can easily catch a bus or the train at St. Peter's train station (50m) that will take you anywhere in Rome or to Fiumicino airport.
A security-monitored parking lot is just in front of the building(15euro per night).
Restaurants, supermarkets, shops, bank and hospital are all in the area.

Great location and very comfortable and homely apartment. The host Luca looked after us really well, was very helpful with advise on all topics and helped to arrange airport pick ups at very attractive rate. Highly recommended, my parents and I had a great, memorable stay in Barbara's apartment.
